Subscriptions API

The Subscriptions API manages list membership details linking global contact profiles to subscription groups. Use it to subscribe contacts to lists, check subscription states, update statuses, or delete memberships.

Subscription actions do NOT implicitly create contact profiles. A contact email must exist globally in the Contacts Directory first, or the subscription endpoint will return a 404 CONTACT_NOT_FOUND error.
